These Terms & Conditions set out the basis on which uPVC Door Locks (“we”, “our”, “us”) supplies goods through our website upvcdoorlocks.co.uk (“the Website”). By placing an order with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before placing an order.

1. General Information

1.1 We are Summat Marked Ltd T/As uPVC Door Locks, registered in the UK.

1.2 These Terms apply to all sales of goods made through our Website to consumers within the United Kingdom.

1.3 We reserve the right to update or amend these Terms at any time. The version displayed on our Website at the time you place your order will apply.

2. Products

2.1 We specialise in multipoint locks and related security hardware. Product descriptions, images, and specifications are provided for guidance only.

2.2 While we make every effort to ensure accuracy, minor variations may occur, and all products are subject to availability.

2.3 It is your responsibility to ensure the product is suitable for your intended purpose before ordering. Guidance is provided on the Website, but we cannot be held liable if an incorrect product is purchased.

3. Prices & Payment

3.1 All prices shown on our Website are in pounds sterling (£) and include VAT where applicable.

3.2 Delivery charges (if applicable) are displayed separately before checkout.

3.3 We reserve the right to adjust prices at any time, but orders placed prior to any change will not be affected.

3.4 Payment must be made in full at the time of ordering via the payment methods displayed at checkout.

4. Orders & Contract Formation

4.1 By placing an order through our Website, you are making an offer to purchase goods.

4.2 We will confirm acceptance of your order by sending an order confirmation email. A binding contract is formed only once this email has been sent.

4.3 If we are unable to fulfil your order, we will inform you as soon as possible and issue a full refund.

5. Delivery

5.1 We offer free next business day delivery to mainland UK addresses on qualifying orders.

5.2 Orders placed before 3pm are usually dispatched the same day. Orders placed after this time may be processed the following business day.

5.3 Deliveries to remote or offshore locations (e.g. Highlands, Islands, Northern Ireland) may take longer and may be subject to an additional charge.

5.4 We cannot be held liable for delays caused by courier services or other factors beyond our control.

6. Risk & Ownership

6.1 Risk of loss or damage to goods passes to you once delivery has been made.

6.2 Ownership of goods will not pass to you until we have received full payment in cleared funds.

7. Returns & Cancellations

7.1 You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of delivery under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

7.2 To exercise this right, you must notify us in writing (email or post) within the 14-day period.

7.3 You must return the goods to us in their original, unused condition and packaging within 14 days of cancellation.

7.4 You are responsible for the cost of returning goods unless the item is faulty or supplied incorrectly.

7.5 Refunds will be processed within 14 days of us receiving the returned goods, via the original payment method.

8. Faulty or Damaged Goods

8.1 If your product arrives faulty, damaged, or not as described, please contact us immediately.

8.2 We will arrange a replacement, repair, or refund in accordance with your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

  • Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation

9.3 Our total liability to you in respect of any claim will not exceed the value of the goods purchased.
